Oberlin sophomore Walter Moak (Charlottesville, VA/Western Albemarle) placed second overall out of 110 runners and was the highest Division III finisher at the Wooster Invitational. The second-year clocked in with a four-mile time of 21:25.4, finishing just four seconds off the lead.

Wooster senior Isabelle Hoover (Millersport, OH/Fairfield Union) was the top NCAC finisher at the season-opening Wooster Invitational at L.C. Boles Memorial Golf Course. Hoover timed in at 16:00.2, finishing in fourth place among 90 participants in the 4K race.

Wittenberg sophomore Conor Kolka finished in second place at the Wittenberg Invitational. The second year timed in with an 8K time of 26:07.8 and was the top-placing NCAC runner in a 10-team field that included Denison and Wooster.

DePauw junior Meredith Sierpina logged a 6K time of 23:07 for an eighth-place finish at the Calvin Knight Invitational. The Tigers finished third among 10 teams, which included No. 21-ranked Calvin in Division III, along with No. 2-ranked Grand Valley State and No. 16-ranked Hillsdale in Division II.

Wooster sophomore Will Callender logged a top-10 finish among NCAA Division III entries at Friday's All-Ohio Championships, earning All-Ohio honors for the second time in his career. Callender placed 36th among 438 runners across all divisions with an 8K time of 25:27.9.

Ohio Wesleyan freshman Benjamin Blaumeiser won the individual title at the OWU Invitational on Friday, completing the 8,000-meter course in 26:05.2. He helped the Battling Bishops to a second-place finish in team standings which was Ohio Wesleyan's best finish at a meet since Sept. 17, 2016 when the team finished second out of 16 teams at the Otterbein Invitational.

Ohio Wesleyan sophomore Ashley Beatty led OWU with a sixth-place finish at the OWU Invitational on Friday, completing the 6000-meter course in 24:06.5. She helped the Battling Bishops to a second-place finish in the team standings which was Ohio Wesleyan's best finish at an invitational since Oct. 14, 2017, when the team placed second at the Gettysburg Invitational.
